Cosmetex – Discounted Registration Still Available

If you’ve been on the fence about attending Cosmetex 2014, it’s not too late to register. The Asia-Pacific’s largest and most significant meeting devoted to Cosmetic Medical Practice will be held Thursday, May 1st through Saturday, May 3rd at the Royal Pines Resort, Queensland, and you can still reserve a spot at a special reduced rate.

The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS), sponsor of the event, has graciously agreed to extend discounted registration to all AAFPS members.

What is Cosmetex?

“Cosmetex provides College fellows, delegates and sponsors a distinctive occasion each year to renew friendships, see and learn new things and work together to promote Cosmetic Medical Practice,” writes Dr.Soo-Keat Lim, ACCS President. Dr. Lim is in practice at Ashbrooke Cosmetic Surgery where he is well known for his expertise in body sculpting using liposculpture, and in facial remodelling with injectable fillers and muscle relaxants.

“(Cosmetex is) also a matchless opportunity for the cosmetic industry to showcase the latest innovations for cosmetic medicine and surgery,” Dr. Lim continues, “and for experienced and talented practitioners to show the rest of us what results they have achieved with those innovations.”

AAFPS Panelists

Several AAFPS members have been invited to share their expertise at the conference. On Friday, May 2nd, Dr Angelo Tsribas, DrBenjamin Burt and Dr George Marcells will offer insights on periorbital surgery.

The morning session will be followed a facelift panel chaired by Dr George Marcells. It will include talks by Dr Michael Zacharia, Dr Darryl Hodgkinson and keynote speaker Dr Steven Dayan who will discuss The Unifying Theory of Beauty.

Dr Dayan is a principle investigator of an aesthetic medicine research site. He is on the cutting edge of medical techniques in aesthetics, and he is a leader in this field.
