Core Skills: ENT Sinus Surgery & Facial Plastic Workshop

The Core Skills: ENT Sinus Surgery & Facial Plastic Workshop offers Registrars, Trainees, Fellows and Junior Consultants in ENT and Plastic Surgery the chance to gain hands-on training in small groups under the guidance of expert faculty. This workshop uses a combination of pre-reading, discussion and dissection of fresh frozen human cadavers.
Day 1 focuses on ENT Surgery and includes the following cadaveric procedures: endoscopic septoplasty, antrostomy; Ethmoidectomy sphenoid surgery; Frontal recess surgery; Sphenopalatine artery ligation, Vidian neurectomy; CSF repair; Orbital/Optic nerve decompression; Extended endoscopic approaches to the skull base; Frontal drill out and pituitary surgery.
Day 2 has a Facial Plastic Surgery focus and will feature presentations followed by corresponding cadaveric procedures: Blepharoplasty – upper and lower; Otoplasty; Rhinoplasty; Facial flaps – forehead and cheek; Chin implant and Facelifts and Endobrow lift.
