Dr Philip Michael

Dr Michael is one of the few surgeons in Australia that has passed specialist ear, nose and throat examinations in the United Kingdom and Australia to hold both the titles of Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

He has undertaken mini fellowships in Europe with pre-eminent surgeons in Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland as well as a rhinology fellowship in the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne. During these fellowships, Dr Michael undertook training in cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty together with advanced endoscopic sinus surgery techniques. With relation to these subspecialty areas, he is a specialist member of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Australia and New Zealand Rhinologic Society.

He operates privately through Cabrini Hospital, Malvern and The Epworth Hospital, Richmond, Melbourne where is primary facial plastics interest is rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty for both cosmetic and functional concerns.
